We are currently seeking three friendly and motivated Nurses (Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse) to join our team in a combined clinical and reception role at one of three well-established medical centres in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs:
- Merrindale Medical Centre - Croydon South :
- Commercial Road Medical Centre - Ferntree Gully :
- Glen Waverley Medical Centre - Glen Waverley
Each clinic is independently operated and has been providing high-quality care to the local community for over 10 years. Our teams pride themselves on maintaining a supportive, respectful and collaborative working environment .
This position is a combined nursing and administrative role , supporting both clinical care and the day-to-day operations of the practice. It is ideal for a nurse interested in developing skills in general practice nursing and medical administration .
Training will be provided and new graduate nurses are welcome to apply.
Role Responsibilities
You will work closely with doctors, nurses and administrative staff to support patient care and assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Responsibilities may include: Clinical duties
- Assisting doctors with patient care and clinical procedures
- Preparing patients for consultations
- Wound care, immunisations and other general practice nursing duties
Administrative duties
- Managing patient appointments and triaging phone calls
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Providing professional and welcoming service at reception
- Processing patient payments and Medicare billings
- Supporting the overall organisation and efficiency of the clinic
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
- Willingness to assist in both clinical and reception duties :
- Experience with medical software and Medicare billing (desirable but not essential)
