Coffee Roaster - Operations Lead About Us We're a bespoke contemporary coffee roasting company on a mission to become a household name. We're looking for an accomplished Coffee Roaster who sees the bigger picture of scaling a specialty brand into mainstream recognition.The Role You'll be the backbone of our roasting operations while actively contributing to brand growth. This is a hands-on position with genuine impact: developing roasting excellence, driving product innovation, and helping translate our craft into a story the whole country wants to be part of. Roasting & Operations (60%) Design and execute roasting profiles for single-origins and blends, managing roast curves with precision and adapting to seasonal variations.Lead weekly cupping sessions, establish quality standards, and conduct sensory analysis ensuring every batch represents our brand promise.Operate, maintain, and calibrate roasting equipment; manage repairs to keep operations running seamlessly.Schedule production to meet demand, coordinate with packaging/fulfillment, and manage capacity across seasonal fluctuations. Additional Responsibilities (40%) Develop current blends, explore seasonal/limited-edition roasts,



and evaluate green beans with our Director. Train junior roasters and production staff, educate baristas on profiles, and represent us at industry eventsManage green bean quality, inventory, storage, and rotation.Contribute to stock costings, pricing, sales reporting, and wholesale purchasing.
