The Karaoke Host is responsible for creating a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment for guests. You will assist customers with room bookings, operate the karaoke system, serve drinks, and ensure every group has a great entertainment experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

- Greet customers warmly and provide information about rooms, prices, and song options.
- Assist guests with karaoke equipment, song search, microphones, and sound settings.
- Handle bookings — walk-ins and phone calls.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.

Karaoke & Room Operations

- Set up and reset rooms between sessions (cleaning, equipment check, lighting).
- Ensure speakers, TVs, remotes, microphones, and song libraries are working correctly.
- Troubleshoot simple technical issues.

Bar & Food Service (if applicable)

- Serve drinks and light snacks.
- Maintain bar cleanliness and restock supplies.
- Check ID and follow RSA requirements.

Cashier & Administration

- Use POS system to process payments.
- Keep accurate records of bookings and sales.
- Handle cash responsibly.





Safety & Cleanliness

- Maintain cleanliness across rooms, hallways, and bar areas.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure a safe, enjoyable workplace.

Skills & Qualifications Required

- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and busy periods.
- Positive, energetic personality — comfortable in a lively environment.
- Basic technical knowledge (TVs, audio systems, remotes).
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred

- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or entertainment venues.
- Familiarity with karaoke systems or audio equipment.
- RSA certificate (for venues serving alcohol).

Someone who is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys creating a fun atmosphere. You don’t need to be a singer — but you should love helping others enjoy their time.

Pay: $30.00 - $55.86 per hour
