Teacher / Acrobatics & Aerial Coach Totally Tumbling And Tricks - Unanderra

Totally Tumbling And Tricks is looking for a confident, caring and motivated teacher to join our team.

We are an acrobatics and aerial studio based in Unanderra, working with students from preschool through to teens. Our classes are built around helping children grow in confidence, develop strong skills, and feel supported as they learn.

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with children, understands that every child learns differently, and wants to be part of a studio that is continuing to grow.

This role would suit someone who already has teaching experience, brings positive energy to their classes, and is excited to keep learning and developing as a coach. We want someone who is passionate about helping children progress, open to feedback, and motivated to contribute to the studio in a meaningful way.

What the role may involve

- Teaching tumbling and acrobatics-based skills
- Learning to teach aerial circus skills with our support and training
- Working with children of different ages, abilities and learning styles
- Supporting children who may need a more flexible or individual approach, including neurodivergent students
- Assisting with school holiday activities and special studio events
- Contributing to choreography for our mid-year and end-of-year shows
- Helping with the safe setup and pack-up of equipment

What we’re looking for

- Teaching experience working with children
- Intermediate tumbling ability, including skills such as handstands, cartwheels, handsprings and similar progressions
- A willingness to learn and expand into aerial teaching
- A kind,



patient and encouraging approach with students
- An understanding that children learn in different ways and may need different teaching approaches
- A solid work ethic and a genuine desire to help build the studio
- Someone who is open to learning, growing and being part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting equipment and spotting students when required
- Reliable transport

Hours

This is a casual position, with shifts generally available in the mornings (approximately 9:00am-11:00am) and afternoons (approximately 3:30pm-8:00pm).

We run classes across 6 days per week, and there is flexibility depending on availability. Once hours are agreed upon, they will usually stay consistent each week.

Location

Our studio is located in Unanderra, approximately 10 minutes south of Wollongong.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
