About the Role We are seeking an experienced Casual Cook who is confident working across a busy café and pizzeria kitchen. This role requires strong experience in breakfast service, pasta, and woodfired pizza preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook all-day breakfast items (eggs, omelettes, benedict, pancakes, etc.)
- Prepare and cook woodfired pizza
- Cook pasta, risotto, burgers, and mains to a high standard
- Assist with dough preparation, sauces, and ingredient prep**
- Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
- Work efficiently during busy breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen**




- Assist with stock rotation and storage

About You

- Proven experience as a cook in a cafe, restaurant, or pizzeria
- Robust experience in pizza making and breakfast service (essential)
- Ability to handle high-volume service (morning + evening trade)
- Knowledge of Italian-style cooking (desirable)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
