Duty Manager - Auntie Annie’s Hotel

Auntie Annie’s Hotel is a well-loved local pub in Kensington, known for quality food, a welcoming atmosphere and strong community ties. We’re currently looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team (30+ hours per week).

About the role As Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations during your shifts, supporting the team on the floor, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

- Running shifts independently, including opening and closing
- Leading and supporting front-of-house staff
- Delivering consistent, high-quality customer service
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Ensuring compliance with venue policies, RSA and safety standards
- Assisting with basic reporting and operational tasks as required
- Pouring a cracking pint of Guinness





About you

- Previous experience in a pub, bar or restaurant environment
- Confident leading a team and making decisions on shift
- Solid communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, hands-on and customer-focused
- Current RSA
- Whiskey, beer and cocktails knowledge preferred but training will be provided.
