Job Description

Love the chase? At Keith Engineering we design, manufacture, install and commission equipment that keeps one of the most highly regulated, high-stakes sectors in food and agriculture running.

Now we’re after a hunter, someone hungry, full of drive and happiest on the road, who wants to own a national sales cycle end to end, from first conversation to signed deal. Your calendar, your pipeline, your patch, across every state and territory. This role can be located anywhere in Australia.

The Role

You will run sales nationally from start to finish. That means getting out to client sites, getting to know each plant’s capacity and capital expenditure plans, and spotting the opportunities for new equipment, upgrades and spare parts before anyone else does. You’ll represent Keith at industry events (including the Australian Renderers Association), build your own pipeline and take deals from lead to close, with our project managers, engineers and leadership team right alongside you to make sure we deliver on everything you sell.

What You’ll Own

- The full national sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing
- A pipeline you build and drive yourself, from first enquiry through to signed proposal
- A national client base, with real on-site relationships in every state and territory
- The Keith Engineering presence at industry events and association activities
- Pricing, scope and delivery conversations alongside our project managers, engineers and leadership team
- Forecasting, CRM and reporting that keep leadership in the loop

What You’ll Bring

- Hunger. You go looking for opportunities rather than waiting for them to land
- A track record of winning business in a sales, business development or account management role. We care more about drive and results than years on the CV
- A real appetite for national travel.
- The confidence to talk with everyone from tradespeople to executives
- The self-direction to run a largely autonomous role without someone looking over your shoulder
- Curiosity about how things work.
- Exposure to capital equipment sales or technical account management is a strong plus

What’s On Offer

- Real autonomy, you set the plan, you lead your territory
- The role can be based anywhere with periodic visits to our Sydney and Melbourne offices to stay connected
- The backing of a group with engineering credentials going back to 1947 and a genuine industry leader in rendering equipment

Ready to Hit the Road?

If you’re hungry, love the hunt and want a national territory to call your own, we want to hear from you.

Apply now with your resume and a cover letter addressing your career wins and highlights.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit/visa. All appointments are subject to a 6-month probation period and may be subject to pre-employment checks including a National Police Check and reference checks.

CRM Management: You'll keep track of your outreach activities and follow-ups in our CRM to ensure no lead is left behind and everything stays organized.

Team Collaboration: You'll work closely with our sales team to ensure a smooth transition from the initial conversation to the closing phase, ensuring that everyone's on the same page.

What Were Looking For:

At least a year of experience in a sales, lead generation, or appointment-setting role (experience in remote work is a bonus!).

You're a outstanding communicator whether its on the phone, via email, or through chat, you know how to keep people engaged and interested.

You're results-driven with a strong work ethic and are ready to put in the effort to hit your goals.

You've got a knack for starting conversations and building relationships with people quickly, getting them to open up and share their needs.

Comfortable using CRM systems, LinkedIn, email tools, and anything else that comes your way (don't worry, well train you if you need it).

Able to work independently and stay self-motivated, especially since were 100% remote.

Must be based in Australia and legally able to work here.

What Makes This Place Special:

Work From Anywhere: As long as you're in Australia, you can work from wherever you're most comfortable. No more commuting or being stuck at a desk all day.

Competitive Pay: We offer a solid base salary plus performance-based bonuses, so your efforts don't go unnoticed.

Opportunities for Growth: Were growing quickly, and we want you to grow with us! There's plenty of room for advancement if you're ready to take on more responsibilities.

A Fun, Supportive Team: We work hard, but we also have a lot of fun. You'll be joining a team that's all about collaboration, support, and making sure everyone succeeds.

Work-Life Balance: Were all about flexibility. If you need time off, you can take it. Life happens, and we want to make sure you have time for what matters.

Ready to Make an Impact?
If you're excited to help drive growth and love the idea of connecting with new people, we want to hear from you! Apply now and lets see how we can work together to make things happen.
