We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Warehouse & Workshop Technician to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our warehouse and workshop. This role is ideal for someone with practical experience who takes pride in doing things properly, enjoys variety in their work, and values being part of a supportive, close-knit team.

You’ll play an important role across warehouse operations, equipment preparation and refurbishment, and general operational support. This is a stable, long-term position within a well-established business, suited to someone who enjoys structured work, clear processes, and being trusted to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Preparing current equipment and refurbishing existing machinery to a professional standard
- Assisting with basic assembly, cleaning, stripping and preparation of equipment
- Picking, packing and dispatching consumables, spare parts and equipment with a high level of accuracy
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse and workshop environment
- Handling general warehouse paperwork and computer data entry
- Liaising professionally with suppliers, customers and internal staff as required
- Assisting field technicians from time to time, including occasional site visits when directed




- Providing support with preventative maintenance tasks and basic customer training where required
- Identifying and reporting any issues relating to systems, safety, stock, suppliers or equipment
- Representing Smart Waste Solutions professionally and maintaining our high customer service standards
