In this role, you will be responsible for various landscaping tasks, including planting, irrigating, grading, and installing hardscape elements like walkways and patios. Your expertise in horticulture, design principles, and your hands-on experience with tools and equipment will be essential. Landscape Gardener Duties & Responsibilities:

- Mow the lawn, either by hand or using a riding lawnmower.
- Landscaping by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
- Take out weeds and dead plants.
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
- Trim overgrown branches, hedges, and leaves.
- Working on tall ladders anywhere up to 5.1m high.
- Uphold the landscaping design and ensure optimal plant growth.




- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
- Utilize herbicides, insecticides & fungicides to treat common issues that can arise affecting lawns & plants.
- Testing, maintaining, installing & repairing irrigation systems.
- Be willing to train and enhance knowledge in assigned duties.
- Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape structures.
- Constructing gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, trellises & pergolas.
- Preparing seedbeds and growing sites.
- Planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers and bulbs.
- Preparing lawn areas by spreading topsoil and planting grass, and by laying instant turf rolls.

Landscape Gardener Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role.
- Must be able to safely operate maintenance equipment, including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.
- Strong knowledge of pests & weeds management and basic garden maintenance.
- Available to work full time from Monday-Friday with Saturday work being optional.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable and self-motivated.

Pay: $76,515.00 - $90,000.00 per year
