- AchieveSa2.5andSa3blastingstandardswhererequired
- Preparesubstratesbeforepaintingandcoatingapplications
- Applyindustrialprimers,epoxiesandpolyurethanecoatings
- Useconventionalandairlesssprayequipmentsafelyandeffectively
- Measureandcontrolcoatingthicknessusingappropriategauges
- Applystripecoatsandcompletemulti-stagecoatingsystems
- Adjustsprayingtechniquestosuitdifferentsurfacesandworkingconditions
- Followcoatingprocedures,qualityrequirementsandinspectionprocesses
- Completeroutinecleaningandmaintenanceofequipmentandtools
- Identifyandtroubleshootbasicissueswithblastingandpaintingequipment
- Maintainblastroomequipmentandworkareas
- Assistwithloadingandunloadingblastingtrolleys
- Maintainsafeandefficientworkshoppractices
Requirements & Eligibility
- Atleast3yearsofindustrialblastingandpaintingexperience
- Demonstratedexperienceworkinginanindustrialworkshopenvironment
- Knowledgeofrecognisedsurfacepreparationandblastingstandards
- ExperiencewithSa2.5andSa3blastingrequirements
- Strongknowledgeofprotectiveindustrialcoatingproducts
- Experienceusingzinc-richprimers,high-buildepoxiesandpolyurethanecoatings
- Competencyusingairlessandconventionalsprayequipment
- Abilitytoworkaccuratelytospecifieddryfilmthicknesses
- UnderstandingofQA/QCrequirementsforindustrialcoatingwork
- Strongcommitmenttosafetyandqualityworkmanship
