Disability Support Worker - Brisbane South

Harmony Support Australia is seeking experienced, compassionate, and resilient Support Workers to join our team to provide person-centred supports in Brisbane Southside area.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support while promoting independence, dignity, and community participation.

What you'll be doing

As a Support Worker, you will:

Deliver person-centred support in accordance with the participant's NDIS goals and preferences.

Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies built in Behaviour Support Plans (BSP/PBSP).

Build a trusting and therapeutic relationship with the participant.

Support community access, appointments, daily living skills, and social participation.

Maintain accurate case notes and incident reporting.

Work collaboratively with families, behaviour support practitioners, and the broader multidisciplinary team.

Promote a secure, respectful, and positive environment at all times.

Confident in managing complex support needs.

Committed to delivering safe, respectful, and high-quality supports

Minimum two years experience as a Support Worker working with challenging behaviours, Autism, implemented PBSB strategies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills





Ability to work independently and within a team

Valuable knowledge of Diabetes management or willingness to learn

Experience providing psychosocial support in a community or residential setting

Ability to manage complex mental health situations

High intensity supports, Personal care, Hoist /Sera steady experience

CurrentNDIS Worker Screening Check,Blue Card,First Aid & CPR, andDriver’s Licence
