About Mingle Seasoning
We're Mingle. And we're on a mission to shake up the way Aussies cook, one pantry at a time. What started in our founder Jords' kitchen 11 years ago has grown into a brand stocked in over 3,000 stores across Australia, with a seriously passionate community of flavour lovers behind us. But here's the thing. We've never been interested in doing things the way they've always been done.
We're a challenger brand at heart. We believe healthy food shouldn't be boring, cooking shouldn't be complicated, and marketing definitely shouldn't be forgettable. We've built Mingle from the ground up through bold storytelling, creative campaigns, social media, a whole lot of hustle and a willingness to do things differently. From supermarket shelves to social feeds, we're here to make real flavour, real connection and real easy meals part of everyday life. And while we've come a long way, we're only just getting warmed up.
The Opportunity: Calling All Content Obsessed Creatives
Are you the kind of person who watches an ad and immediately thinks, "I know how I'd make that better"?
Do you love creating content, but get an even bigger kick out of seeing it actually perform? Are you just as comfortable being the face of a video as you are being the creative brains behind it? Well, hello. We should talk.
We're looking for a Performance Content Creator who brings together creativity, curiosity, confidence on camera and a commercial mindset.
Someone who can turn a simple product into a scroll stopping moment. Who understands that sometimes the best performing ad isn't the most polished one. And who gets just as excited about testing five different hooks as they do about coming up with the original idea. This isn't just an editing role. We want someone who can dream up the idea, jump in front of the camera, bring it to life and then edit it into something brilliant.
You'll be ideating, scripting, starring in, shooting and editing content that makes people stop scrolling, start craving and, most importantly, take action.
You'll work closely with our Head of Performance, founder and creative team to turn everyday products into content people actually want to watch. Your mission? Make content that doesn't just look good. Make content that works.
The 3 Things We're Really Looking For
1. You Love Being Online (And You're Not Camera Shy)
You know what's trending, what's tired and what's about to take off. You don't just follow trends, you understand why they work. You can spot a great hook from a mile away, understand the difference between entertaining and forgettable content, and know that sometimes a slightly chaotic iPhone video can outperform a beautifully polished production. You're curious about what makes people stop, watch, click and buy.
And you're always thinking about how to turn those insights into your next piece of content. And importantly, you're happy to be part of the action. Whether it's talking directly to camera, demonstrating a product, cooking up a recipe or bringing a funny concept to life, you're comfortable being IN the content, not just creating it. Bonus points if your saved folder is overflowing with content ideas.
2. You've Got the Creative Chops (And Know Your Way Around the Tools)
You can take a folder of raw footage and turn it into something people actually want to watch.
You're confident using Premiere Pro, CapCut and Canva, and you're equally comfortable picking up an iPhone to capture something yourself. You know how to find the magic in a clip, cut the fluff, build a compelling story and make the first three seconds count. Whether it's a product demo, a native style ad, a montage or a completely current creative concept, you know how to bring an idea to life. You're confident both directing the content and being part of it, and you know how to deliver something that feels natural, engaging and authentic on camera. You're not waiting around for the perfect footage or a Hollywood budget. You know how to make something great with what you've got.
3. You're Hungry to Get Better (Pun Absolutely Intended)
You're not here to just pump out videos and tick boxes. You want to master your craft. You study creators, analyse ads, experiment with new techniques and genuinely love learning why some content flies while other content flops. You're comfortable receiving feedback, willing to test new approaches and understand that sometimes the best ideas come from trying something that doesn't work the first time.
