The Hours & Roster
This residential roster gives you consistency, flexibility and a great work-life balance.

- Choose Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday (days open to discussion)
- 10-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break and smoko
- Early starts available, which can be discussed to avoid traffic
- Plenty of onsite parking

The Workshop
You'll work with a skilled trades team, preparing machinery before it's deployed to site. It's clean, well-organised work with clear processes.

- Installing new equipment and components, such as fire suppression and safety systems
- Completing site-specific additions and safety items
- Testing and checking machines to make sure they meet site requirements
- Around 90% of the work is clean, repetitive and process-driven, which makes it ideal for learning mining-standard systems




- Reporting to the workshop leading hand & branch manager

Your Skills & Experience

You'll need to be a trade-qualified diesel fitter or mechanic with heavy vehicle experience, plus:

- Confidence with hand and power tools
- A positive attitude and strong safety awareness, high attention to detail and pride in your work
- A preference for structured, process-driven work
- Availability for an immediate start and the ability to commit to at least 3 to 4 months
- A genuine interest in stepping into the mining industry
- Long term career progression within the mining industry (plenty of other opportunities after this on mine sites)
