Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber, results-driven Salesperson / Business Development Manager to join our growing Corporate Trust division in Australia. This role focuses explicitly on driving new business across the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and Securitisation sectors.

In this role, you will be responsible for originating new corporate trust mandates, building deep institutional relationships, and positioning our suite of fiduciary services to issuers, investment banks, law firms, and fund managers.

You will operate at the intersection of structured finance, legal frameworks, and client relationship management to secure complex, high-value mandates.

What you'll do

Key Responsibilities

- You'll originate and secure new corporate trust mandates across structured finance, asset-backed securitisation (RMBS, ABS, CMBS), and corporate bond issuances while driving business growth.
- You'll build and maintain senior-level relationships with investment banks, debt advisors, legal counsel, corporate issuers, and other key stakeholders within the Australian debt capital markets ecosystem.
- You'll deliver solution-based sales presentations for corporate trustee services, including Note Trustee, Security Trustee, Facility Agent, Paying Agent, and Trust Management solutions.
- You'll lead commercial structuring, pricing, and contract negotiations, ensuring a balance between competitive market positioning, risk management, and profitability objectives.
- You'll collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Transaction Management teams to onboard current mandates, while monitoring regulatory developments, market trends, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.

What We Offer

- Highly competitive base salary with an industry-leading, uncapped performance incentive/bonus structure.
- Opportunity to work with a premier portfolio of institutional clients on marquee market transactions.
- Flexible working arrangements (hybrid office/home model).
- Defined career progression pathways into senior executive leadership.

Qualifications

About you

Skills and Qualifications

- You have experience in corporate trust sales, debt capital markets, structured finance, or a related institutional banking role within the Australian market.
- You possess strong technical knowledge of securitisation structures, including warehouse facilities and public term transactions,

as well as debt capital markets documentation and corporate trust arrangements.
- You maintain an established network of contacts across Australian debt issuers, investment banking syndicates, and structured finance legal practices.
- You demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial and legal concepts to C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Law; postgraduate qualifications such as CFA, FINSIA, or a legal degree are highly regarded.

Additional Information
