Internal Sales – Power Transmission /n Perth /n The Opportunity /n My client is an established global engineering business supplying industrial power transmission equipment and mechanical drive solutions to customers across mining, manufacturing and heavy industry. /n They are looking for an experienced Internal Sales professional to join their Perth team. /n This is a customer-focused position involving technical enquiries, quotations, order processing and day-to-day sales support. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you'll help ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and customers receive the right products and support for their applications. /n The role would suit someone with an internal sales background in mechanical or industrial equipment who enjoys working with customers and has a good understanding of power transmission products. /n /n

Key Responsibilities
/n /n
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding industrial power transmission products /n
- Prepare quotations, pricing and technical sales information /n
- Process customer orders and follow up outstanding enquiries /n
- Assist customers with product selection and equipment requirements /n
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding pricing, availability and delivery /n
- Support existing customer accounts and identify additional sales opportunities /n
- Maintain accurate customer records, quotations and order information /n




- Work closely with external sales and technical teams to support customer requirements /n
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding orders and deliveries /n
- Build strong relationships with industrial and engineering customers /n /n /n About You /n /n
- Previous experience in internal sales, sales support or customer service within an industrial or engineering environment /n
- Knowledge of power transmission products, mechanical drives or related industrial equipment /n
- Exposure to gearboxes, geared motors, couplings, bearings or similar mechanical components highly regarded /n
- Confidence handling technical customer enquiries and preparing quotations /n
- Robust communication and customer relationship skills /n
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities /n
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office /n
- Mechanical trade, engineering or technical background advantageous /n
