Business Development Manager – Power Transmission & Industrial Products /n Brisbane /n /n The Opportunity /n My client is an established supplier of power transmission and industrial products, supporting customers across manufacturing, engineering, mining and other industrial sectors. /n With a recently opened branch in Brisbane, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow their customer base and establish a stronger presence across the Queensland market. /n This is a customer-facing role focused on building relationships, identifying recent business opportunities and helping customers find suitable products for their applications. /n The business is open to both experienced technical sales professionals and candidates with a strong technical aptitude who are looking to develop a career in industrial sales. /n /n

Key Responsibilities
/n /n
- Develop relationships with existing and prospective industrial customers /n
- Identify new business opportunities across Brisbane and surrounding areas /n
- Promote power transmission and related industrial products /n
- Understand customer applications and recommend suitable product solutions /n
- Respond to customer enquiries and follow up sales opportunities /n
- Work closely with the branch team to support customer requirements /n
- Build product knowledge and understand different industrial applications /n
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up /n
- Support the growth and development of the Brisbane branch /n /n /n About You /n /n
- Previous experience in business development, account management,



technical sales or a related customer-facing role /n
- Exposure to bearings, gearboxes, power transmission or other industrial products highly regarded /n
- Mechanical, engineering or industrial product knowledge would be advantageous /n
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills /n
- Genuine interest in understanding how mechanical products work and where they are used /n
- Confidence communicating with customers and understanding their requirements /n
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to ask questions and learn /n
- Good organisational skills and ability to follow up customer enquiries /n
- Self-motivated with an interest in developing new business opportunities /n /n /n Candidates with a background in internal sales, technical support, customer service or mechanical engineering who are looking to step into external sales are also encouraged to apply. /n The business is also open to considering a trainee or developing candidate who demonstrates strong technical aptitude, customer focus and a genuine willingness to learn. /n /n What's on Offer /n /n
