Job Description
/n Casual MGP Midwife /n Maryborough District Health Service (MDHS) is seeking an experienced and passionate Midwife to join our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) team on a casual basis. /n This is a rewarding opportunity to provide continuity of care to women and their families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. /n Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based, woman-centred care across both hospital and community settings.

About the Role
/n As a Casual MGP Midwife, your responsibilities will include: /n /n
- Providing safe, high-quality midwifery care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. /n
- Supporting continuity of care for women and their families. /n
- Working collaboratively with midwives, nursing staff, allied health professionals and GP Obstetricians. /n
- Applying evidence-based practice and the Australian College of Midwives Consultation and Referral Guidelines. /n
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues while maintaining professional standards. /n
- Participating in versatile working arrangements, including on-call requirements. /n About You/n We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Midwife who demonstrates: /n /n
- Strong clinical midwifery skills and knowledge. /n
- A commitment to woman-centred, evidence-based care. /n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. /n
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively. /n
