Junior Desktop Engineer – TechBar Support/n

Location:
Melbourne, VIC – Fully onsite, 5 days per week /n Contract role until January 2030 Role Overview/n We are seeking a Junior Desktop Engineer to provide in-person TechBar support to end users in Melbourne. You will troubleshoot device and application issues, assist with day-to-day technical queries, and help ensure a smooth workplace technology experience. /n This is a fully onsite role requiring attendance at the central office five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

- /n /n /n Provide face-to-face TechBar and desktop support to end users. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Troubleshoot hardware, software, device and application issues. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Assist users with technical queries and workplace technology problems. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Deliver a positive and customer-focused support experience. /n /n /n Required Skills and Experience/n /n
- /n /n /n Basic desktop support and troubleshooting knowledge. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Good understanding of Windows devices and common business applications. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Strong customer service and communication skills. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment. /n /n /n




- /n /n /n Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills. /n /n /n Desirable Experience/n /n
- /n /n /n Exposure to endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, JAMF or SCCM. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Awareness of endpoint security tools and practices. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Previous experience in TechBar, walk-up or service desk support. /n /n /n Soft Skills/n /n
- /n /n /n Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Transparent communication and problem-solving abilities. /n /n /n
- /n /n /n Adaptability and willingness to learn. /n /n /n
