/n Summary: /n We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to elderly individuals across all industries. As an Aged Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our elderly clients. This position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. /n

Responsibilities:

- Assist elderly individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming. /n
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote a positive and nurturing workplace. /n
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals. /n
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring dietary requirements are met. /n
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties. /n




- Document and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel. /n
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans. /n
- Participate in training and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills in aged care. /n /n

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent. /n
- Previous experience in aged care or a related field is preferred. /n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. /n
- Compassionate and patient nature. /n
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. /n
- Strong organisational and time management skills. /n
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations. /n
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle stressful circumstances. /n
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications are desirable. /n /n
