Sydney | Hybrid – 3 days in the office/n $140,000–$160,000 base + super + bonus /n /nJoin a major Australian financial-services organisation and help deliver large-scale transformation projects within its Cash and Transactional Banking technology team./n /nYou’ll work in a fast-paced Agile workplace, developing secure and scalable backend services that support critical banking platforms./n /n What you’ll be doing/n /nDesigning, developing and maintaining Java-based backend applications/n /nBuilding secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot/n /nContributing to technical design and solving complex engineering problems/n /nSupporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes/n /nCollaborating with engineers,



business teams and delivery partners/n /nContributing to major banking transformation programs/n /nProviding occasional support across the frontend where required/n /n What we’re looking for/n /nCommercial experience with Java, Spring Boot and RESTful APIs/n /nStrong understanding of API design principles and industry standards/n /nExperience implementing secure APIs using OAuth and JWT/n /nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo and Bitbucket/n /nStrong analytical, design and problem-solving capabilities/n /nExperience working in an Agile engineering environment/n /nKnowledge of J2EE or Struts would be beneficial/n /nReact experience is advantageous but not essential/n /n /nThis is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level backend engineer looking to work on complex, high-impact systems within a supportive enterprise technology environment.
