/n Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd, located in Mackay, Queensland, operates two aged care facilities: Kerrisdale Gardens and Good Shepherd Lodge. We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our clinical team. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, supervising and supporting care staff, and maintaining a safe and caring environment for residents. /n /n

About the Role
/n As an RN, you will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering clinical care, supporting residents’ health and well-being, and mentoring care staff under the guidance of our facility management. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. We are hiring for casual and permanent part-time positions. /n /n

Key Responsibilities
/n /n
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care /n
- Supervise and support care staff in delivering high-quality care /n
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines /n
- Monitor and report on resident health status, including vital signs and changes in condition /n
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards /n
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents and their families /n
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff /n




- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements /n /n About You: /n We are looking for a professional, compassionate, and reliable individual committed to delivering excellent nursing care. The successful candidate will have: /n /n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse /n
- Previous experience in residential aged care /n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills /n
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced, multidisciplinary team environment /n
- Commitment to resident-centered care and adherence to care plans /n
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to employment /n
- Current Influenza (Flu) Vaccination or willingness to obtain, in line with QLD aged care requirements /n /n
