/n Summary: /n We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our retail team in Brisbane, Queensland. This temporary, casual role is ideal for individuals looking to gain entry-level experience in the pharmacy sector. The Pharmacy Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that the pharmacy runs smoothly. /n

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with their enquiries and provide information about products and services /n
- Support pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory /n
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy setting /n
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently /n
- Handle stock management, including receiving and shelving deliveries /n




- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations /n
- Participate in training and development activities as required /n /n

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent /n
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not essential /n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills /n
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently /n
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills /n
- A keen interest in healthcare and pharmacy practices /n
- Completion of a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent qualification) is highly desirable. /n /n
