Front Desk Receptionist - Serviced Apartments This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys dealing with guests, is organised and confident working independently, and takes pride in keeping front desk operations running smoothly. You will work approximately 3 shifts per week with some weekend availability required, in a serviced apartment environment at a convenient Toowong location, close to train, bus and Toowong Village. Full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

Guest check-in and check-out

Handling phone, email and online booking enquiries

Taking reservations and assisting guests with booking enquiries

Processing payments, invoices and basic administrative tasks

Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance when required

Responding to guest requests and resolving day-to-day issues

Following property procedures and policies

Maintaining a professional, organised reception area

Assisting with room checks and some small cleaning duties

About you

Friendly, professional and confident when dealing with guests





Fluent and confident communicating in English, both in person and over the phone

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable working independently

Organised and able to prioritise tasks

Detail-oriented

Calm and helpful when dealing with guest issues

Comfortable learning new systems and procedures

Looking for a secure, long-term role

At least 1 year of experience in hotel, motel, serviced apartment, management rights, short-term accommodation or a similar front office role

Currently live in Brisbane

Have valid working rights in Australia

Be available for a combination of weekday and weekend shifts

Be looking for reliable, ongoing employment

Stable part-time hours
