JRC Meat Pty Ltd is seeking a

Night Chef/Cook

to join our team on a

casual basis . This role is from 6:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment during evening and night shifts. Based in

Cannon Hill QLD 4170 , you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and maintaining exceptional culinary standards during night service hours. This role is non consumer facing.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, standards and presentation requirements

Production and assembly

Maintain food quality, portion control and consistency across all meals prepared during night shifts

Ensure all food is prepared and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

Monitor stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to management

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of equipment and ingredients

Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a protected working environment

Adapt to menu changes and special requests from guests or management

Support team members and maintain positive working relationships within the kitchen

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a chef in a hospitality or food service environment

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and culinary best practices





Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene requirements in commercial kitchens

Ability to work efficiently unsupervised

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Physical capability to work standing for extended periods and lift heavy items safely

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Flexibility and willingness to work evening and night shifts consistently

Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are highly desirable

Experience in a similar casual or part-time capacity would be advantageous
