Put your counterbalance skills to work moving 12-metre pipe, on a six to eight week contract with an immediate start.

Waypoint is partnering with a pipe manufacturing and processing business to appoint a Forklift Operator on a temporary basis, based at their Brendale site.

The business is bringing on an extra pair of hands so the team can keep up with current workload without relying on overtime and weekend work.

The role You’ll spend most of your day on a counterbalance forklift moving large-diameter, 12-metre lengths of pipe around the site. Much of the work is loading pipe into machinery, so finesse matters: you’ll need to place each load carefully and protect the equipment as you go.

Between forklift tasks, you’ll help out across different stations, including picking and palletising, building packaging systems, cleaning pipe with grinders and processing material. Almost every job involves the forklift in some way, and the rest can be taught quickly. You’ll report to the Operations Manager.
