Job Description

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Support the design and delivery of HV substations, transmission and renewable energy projects

Assist with engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation

Contribute to primary design including layouts, SLDs, earthing, cable routing and equipment selection

Support secondary systems including protection, control, SCADA, communications and metering

Assist with power system studies including load flow, fault level and network performance analysis

Support grid connection applications and compliance documentation

Participate in engineering reviews, HAZIDs, risk assessments and safety-in-design activities

Attend site inspections, FAT, SAT,



commissioning and energisation activities

The Successful Applicant A successful Graduate Engineer should have:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, completed or nearing completion

Strong understanding of electrical engineering and power systems fundamentals

Genuine interest in transmission, substations, renewable energy or BESS projects

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Exposure to PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP, PSS®E, MATLAB, AutoCAD or similar is advantageous

Collaborative, detail-oriented and eager to develop a long-term career in the energy sector
