We're looking for an experienced Sample Machinist to join our in-house Sample Room on a Full-Time basis. In this role, you'll work closely with Pattern Makers, Designers, QA and Buying to create high-quality samples that reflect Forever New's fit, craftsmanship,
and style standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of garment construction, a passion for fashion, and a keen eye for detail. Get excited to:
YOUR DREAM OPPORTUNITY
Construct 1.5-2 complete, high-quality garments per day
Collaborate with Pattern Makers to resolve construction challenges
Support the sample cutter to ensure seamless workflow
Label all samples clearly with style details, dates, and fabric info
Ensure all samples align with critical path deadlinesMaintain a clean and safe workspace
Suggest sewing improvements and provide feedback to enhance garment construction
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU OFFER US
Qualification in Garment Construction or equivalent fashion industry experience
3-5 years' experience as a Sample Machinist
Solid knowledge of garment construction and pattern interpretation
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A collaborative, proactive and can-do attitude
Passion for fashion and pride in your craftsmanship
