Locum Biomedical Scientist in Histology

Banding: Band 6 Location: Wales Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working Pattern: Core hours only Hourly Rate: £25 - £33 Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist. Must have experience with: Dissection, microtomy, QC, immunohistochemistry, Special stains. Working hours: 08:30 - 1700 Key Responsibilities

You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination. You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting. Qualifications and Experience

HCPC registration

Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

Experience in Histology within a UK based clinical pathology laboratory

Experience with Dissection, microtomy, QC, immunohistochemistry, Special stains.

Solid attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
