About the role OurGeelongDonor Centre is seeking a Centre Service Officer with a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. Working collaboratively in a team, a day in the centre could see you:

Warmly greet and welcome donors, ensuring a positive donation experience

Provide clear instructions and support to donors in completing required paperwork

Prepare and replenish food and beverages, maintaining the donor refreshment area

Monitor donors post-donation and assist with rebooking future appointments

Demonstrate strong computer literacy, accurately managing donor information and navigating multiple systems

Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day centre operations

Our flexible self-paced paid training program has a balance between on-the-job practice, and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported. Besides having a real passion to deliver an amazing donor experience, you’ll need to be able to provide:

Demonstrated experience delivering excellent customer service

Working knowledge of secure food handling procedures

Previous experience in admin, customer service, retail or hospitality (desirable)

Strong computer literacy and ability to manage multiple systems accurately

Ability to occasionally lift items weighing 9–22.7 kg

Frequent sitting, bending,



and reaching to restock supplies in the kitchen

Flexible to work between 9-10 shifts per fortnight on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday including weekends and afternoons
