Investment Banking Associate - Global IB

Kenbury is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join a Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team in Sydney. Ideally suited to an Associate I or II, this prospect offers exposure to M&A; and corporate advisory transactions across the financial services sector.

The opportunity

You will work closely with senior bankers on transaction execution and client coverage, with responsibilities include:

- Financial modelling, valuation and detailed financial analysis.
- Preparing presentations, transaction materials and strategic advice.
- Managing due diligence and coordinating transaction workstreams.
- Supporting client relationships and business development.
- Reviewing junior bankers’ work and supporting their development.

About you

- Experience ideally at Associate level within a global investment bank or notable independent advisory firm.
- Strong M&A; execution experience, financial modelling skills and commercial judgement.
- Ability to manage transaction workstreams and guide junior team members.
- Strong academics, attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- A genuine interest in developing your career within financial services investment banking.
