Specialised & Emergency Vehicles Australia (EC) Pty Ltd – Brendale QLD Lead and oversee Custom Build, and a small team of employees and apprentices in a hands-on, full-time role. You will be responsible for ensuring company policies and procedures are followed, solving build and repair challenges with skill and creativity, and contributing to a workshop culture where quality, safety and continuous improvement matter. Key responsibilities: Leading by example in a hands-on, full-time role ensuring company polices & procedures are followed Coordinate a small team of trades, trade assistants and apprentices Solving build and repair challenges with skill and creativity Assign tasks, providing clear instruction and expected time allocation. Capture details on actual times and materials used to assist with accurate cost reporting Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical workshop drawings and provide information to relevant parties to produce additional drawings Liaising with managers and other departments to coordinate workflow Ensure finished works meet quality standards and specifications Oversee and support apprentice training and development Ensure Custom-build work area is kept clean and tidy to a Very High Standard – Customers visit this work area regularly and appreciate that cleanliness = Safety & Quality Maintain Consumable stock About you Auto Electrician or Vehicle manufacturing certificate and / or experience About us At SEVA, we are committed to delivering high-quality emergency and specialized vehicle fit-outs on time and within budget.
