Make a real difference in your local community The Prospect We’re urgently looking for Disability Community Support Workers living in the Sutherland area (Caringbah & Kirrawee). In this rewarding role, you’ll support elderly clients to live safely and independently in their own homes—while staying connected to their community. Experience & Skills Required
• High-care experienced
• Manual handling experienced
• Hoist trained and experienced
• Bowel care & Catheter care experienced
• Colostomy care, PEG feeding
• Personal care experienced What You’ll Be Doing
• Providing social support, companionship, and meaningful engagement
• Assisting with transport, shopping, appointments, and outings
• Delivering personal care with dignity, respect, and compassion
• Supporting with domestic tasks and household duties
• Assisting with meal preparation
• Providing medication prompting and assistance
• Helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home environment What You’ll Get
• Ongoing support from experienced mentors and team leaders
• Paid induction and continuous training
• Regular weekday roster (Monday to Friday)
• Minimum 3-4 days availability required
• Morning & Afternoon shifts
• Weekends shifts & Night shifts What We’re Looking For
• Aside from being able to work on morning & afternoon shifts we are also looking for someone that is also willing and can work on NIGHT SHIFTS
• Caring, empathetic, and reliable individual
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community (or studying Nursing – highly regarded)
• Disability/Aged Care experience
• Driver’s licence + reliable insured vehicle (essential)
• Current checks (or willingness to obtain): First Aid/CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC
