About The Role
Hunter Homecare Massage is a Maitland-based mobile remedial massage service supporting older Australians in their own homes through Support at Home and Home Care Packages. We are building a small pool of three to four remedial massage therapists to provide occasional fill-in work, covering regular therapists when they are away and accepting one-off appointments as they arise. This is not a full or guaranteed workload. Some weeks there may be no work, while other weeks may offer two or three days of appointments. This opportunity is ideal for therapists who already operate their own practice and are looking to supplement their existing workload with flexible, occasional work on their own terms.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide remedial massage treatments to older Australians in their homes.
• Deliver professional, client-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Follow appointment details, access instructions and relevant client information.
• Maintain professional standards when working with older clients.
• Manage appointments and travel within agreed geographical areas.
• Maintain appropriate treatment documentation and professional communication. Qualifications & Requirements
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage.




• Current membership with a recognised massage association.
• Current skilled indemnity and public liability insurance.
• Current first aid certificate.
• National Police Check issued within the past three years, or willingness to obtain one.
• One professional reference.
• Current Australian Business Number (ABN).
• Own massage table and linen.
• Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within selected service areas. Contractor

Requirements:
Therapists work as independent contractors and are responsible for their own tax, superannuation, travel expenses and insurance. Benefits Of Working With Hunter Homecare Massage
• $95 per one-hour session for daytime weekday appointments.
• GST-registered therapists invoice $95 plus GST.
• No commission or deductions from the session rate.
• Flexible, occasional work to complement an existing practice.
• Freedom to accept or decline offered shifts.
• Appointment details provided in advance, including client information, suburb, session length and access notes.
• Geographically grouped appointments where possible to minimise unnecessary travel.
• Weekday work only, Monday to Friday, with no weekend commitments.
• Prospect to support older Australians to access massage services in their own homes. Please note: Work is offered on an as-needed basis and is not guaranteed. Therapists are responsible for their own travel costs and other independent contractor expenses.
