Community Center Manager City of Riverside (MO) The Community Center Manager reports to the City Administrator and manages daily operations of the Community Center that includes a gym and 2 meeting rooms. Primary responsibilities include developing and promoting quality programs, managing rentals, overseeing building maintenance, overseeing contracts, ensuring compliance with policies, managing a department budget, and supervising staff. Education The city has moved away from fitness programming and plans to develop community programming and events. This new position will have the opportunity to develop a recent era of programming at the facility. Education/Training/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Sports Management,



Leisure Services or related field required.
• 1-3 years of increasingly responsible experience required.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Certification with the National/Missouri Recreation and Park Association preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete within 1 year of hire, the FEMA NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, & 800 certifications.
