- Looking for an Automation Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and SDET practices. The candidate should possess robust expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Javascript, Python, Cucumber and modern automation frameworks, with the ability to lead automation initiatives across enterprise applications. Experience in Banking (BFSI) domains, API testing, database validation, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering best practices is essential. The role requires driving automation strategy, mentoring teams, ensuring quality governance, and collaborating with stakeholders to enable high-quality and faster releases. Prior experience leading end-to-end testing and automation transformation initiatives is preferred. Primary Skills

Lead automation delivery for banking applications by defining and implementing scalable test automation solutions using Playwright, Python, and JavaScript using BDD (Cucumber) framework. 2. Drive automation strategy, framework enhancements, code reviews, and adoption of SDET best practices to improve quality, coverage, and maintainability. 3. Collaborate with business, development, and QA stakeholders to define test approaches, quality objectives, and release readiness criteria. 4. Ensure effective automation of UI, API, database, and end-to-end business workflows while maintaining high reliability and execution efficiency. 5. Establish quality metrics, reporting dashboards, and governance practices to track automation effectiveness and overall product quality. 6. Mentor and guide automation engineers, promote engineering excellence, and support capability building across QA teams. 7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through CI/CD integration, test optimization, and quality engineering best practices aligned with BFSI standards.
