Overview We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a major cloud transformation initiative. You will play a key role in designing, building and deploying scalable Azure infrastructure while working closely with architects, security specialists and delivery teams. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on cloud build activities, automation and Azure best practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and deploy Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Build and configure Azure networking, security and governance controls.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Configure and manage Azure subscriptions, management groups and policies.
• Deploy and maintain Azure PaaS and IaaS solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and project teams to deliver Azure cloud solutions.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and operational tooling.
• Support CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure cloud environments comply with security and operational standards.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams. Required Experience
• 5+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering.




• Strong commercial experience building solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience with:
• Azure Virtual Networks
• Azure Firewall
• NSGs
• VPN Gateway / ExpressRoute
• Storage Accounts
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure Monitor
• Azure Backup
• Azure Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Solid Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD automation.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Exposure to cloud security, governance and identity management. Highly Regarded
• Azure Landing Zone deployments.
• Hub-and-spoke networking.
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Azure Sentinel / Microsoft Sentinel.
• Migration and modernisation projects.
• Financial Services, Government or Enterprise-scale environments. Certifications
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Terraform certification (desirable)
