We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or recommence their career in machining and production.

As an Apprentice Machinist, you will gain hands-on experience and training in operating machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards, and contributing to our commitment to excellence in the manufacturing industry.

How You'll Make a Difference

Working closely with the Machining Team, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Assist in the operation of various machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions to develop machining skills and knowledge.




- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with experienced machinists to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

About You:

- Completion of secondary education (Year 10 or equivalent).
- Strong interest in machining and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
- Currently undertaking an Engineering Apprenticeship in Machining would be highly regarded
