Pacific Plastic Surgery Clinic is seeking an

experienced, professional and highly organised Medical Receptionist

to join our specialist surgical practice on a permanent part-time basis.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in medical reception. This is an essential requirement.

We are a busy plastic and reconstructive surgery practice providing high-quality patient care in a professional and supportive environment.

About the Role Working 2 days per week, you will be responsible for supporting the productive day-to-day operations of our practice and providing exceptional patient service.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing patient appointments, enquiries and incoming calls

Coordinating busy specialist consulting sessions

Processing Medicare, private health insurance and patient billing

Managing patient records, referrals and clinical correspondence

Liaising with surgeons, nursing staff, hospitals and referring practitioners

Handling patient enquiries professionally and confidentially

Providing general administrative support to the practice

Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical receptionist role

Sound knowledge of Medicare billing and medical administration

Excellent communicator and customer service skills

Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail





Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands

Confidence working independently in a busy medical environment

A proactive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork

Professional presentation and a patient-focused approach

Experience in specialist medical or surgical practices and familiarity with Xestro will be highly regarded.
