About the role

As a Dental Assistant, you will provide high-quality chairside support to our clinicians and help ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing chairside assistance to dentists across a variety of procedures

- Preparing treatment rooms before appointments

- Cleaning and maintaining treatment rooms between patients

- Following infection control and sterilisation procedures

- Preparing instruments, materials and equipment for treatment

- Supporting the smooth flow of the clinical schedule

- Helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit





- Communicating effectively with patients, clinicians and the wider team

- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation

- Monitoring clinical supplies and helping keep treatment areas well stocked

- Working collaboratively to maintain a clean, organised and efficient practice

About you

We would love to hear from a Dental Assistant who:

- Has previous experience working in a dental practice

- Is confident assisting clinicians in a busy environment

- Is friendly, professional and patient-focused

- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work

- Is reliable, proactive and willing to contribute to the team

- Works well independently while being a supportive team member

- Is comfortable learning new systems, procedures and technologies

- Is looking for an opportunity to grow with an expanding practice

A Certificate III in Dental Assisting and experience with dental practice management software would be highly regarded, but are not essential for the right candidate.
