About the role

We are seeking a hands-on person to assist with receiving and processing bulk grain trucks and all aspects of loading grain into containers. We are a small, dedicated team who take pride in providing outstanding service to our clients. This is a full time position that plays a vital operational role in supporting the smooth running of our business. The role is based on-site in Laverton North.

Key responsibilities

- Sampling and classification of all incoming grain deliveries and containers packed

- Operation of weighbridge computer and grain packing equipment

- Assist with booking and managing receival timeslots & container movements

- Identify importing country requirements and collate necessary export documentation

What we're looking for

- Strong preference for Grain industry experience (or a strong desire to work in the grain sector)

- Accreditation (or willingness to be trained) as a Department of Agriculture Plant Export Authorised Officer (AO) with specified job functions: Export inspection of empty containers (ECI3001); Export inspection of prescribed grain and plant products - packaged (PGG3001:1); and Export inspection of prescribed grain and plant products bulk into containers (PGG3001:2)

- A demonstrated track record of accuracy and strong attention to detail,



with excellent verbal and written communication skills including a personable and clear phone manner

- Australian Citizen or have permanent rights to live and work in Melbourne
