About the role

We're looking for a warm, reliable and professional receptionist to join our specialist endodontic practice. From a welcoming smile at reception to a reassuring conversation over the phone, you'll help make every patient's experience a positive one. This is a reception role, but the ability to step in and assist our clinical team when needed would be highly valued.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable and cared for.

- Answering calls and responding to enquiries in a friendly, professional and timely manner.

- Learning our endodontic booking protocols and knowing when to refer patient questions to the clinical team.

- Booking and coordinating appointments to keep the day running smoothly.

- Managing patient records, correspondence and medical documents with precision, confidentiality and care, while following privacy and document-handling requirements.

- Using dental practice software and learning current systems and processes.

- Processing HICAPS claims, taking payments and completing end-of-day account reconciliation.

- Staying on top of tasks, returning calls promptly and following through on patient enquiries.

- Helping with occasional sterilisation duties, following training and infection control protocols.

- Stepping in to assist the clinical team when needed, where you have the relevant skills and experience.

About you

- Have a friendly, approachable manner and take pride in providing excellent customer service.

- Are well presented and communicate clearly and professionally, with fluent spoken and written English.

- Enjoy working as part of a team and are equally comfortable working independently.

- Are punctual,



reliable and someone your teammates can count on.

- Bring honesty, integrity and pride to your work, treating patients and colleagues with dignity and respect.

- Have a keen eye for detail and can organise your workload to complete tasks accurately and on time.

- Pick up new software and protocols quickly and enjoy learning.

- Know how to process HICAPS claims and take patient payments.

- Can work at least four days per week, including some Saturdays, across both Wynnum and Capalaba locations.

- Customer service experience is preferred, and dental reception experience is highly regarded. Dental assisting skills are a welcome bonus.
