The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Orthopaedics SRMO to support orthopaedic services in regional Hunter New England.
This role suits junior doctors wanting to build surgical and orthopaedic experience in a regional setting, with hands-on theatre and fracture exposure.
Ad-hoc shifts are available throughout 2026, so you can combine regional work with your existing commitments. Shifts are flexible, at up to $200 per hour.

Clinical Environment
• Hands-on surgical exposure: assist across orthopaedic theatres and fracture clinics
• Acute skills development: support trauma and fracture management across ED and inpatient settings
• Versatile locum options: ad-hoc shifts throughout the year to suit your roster
• Supportive supervision: work alongside registrars, consultants and experienced nursing teams
• Balanced case mix across ward, theatre and outpatient orthopaedics

Requirements
• Current AHPRA General Registration
• PGY3+ with previous surgical, orthopaedic or ED exposure desirable
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete local credentialing and onboarding
