Elite Resource is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to assist with the construction and deconstruction of a major concert stage in Townsville.

This is a unique chance to work behind the scenes on a world-famous music event, supporting crews during the build and bump-out phases. Operators will play a critical role in unloading trucks, moving equipment and keeping materials flowing safely and efficiently throughout the project.

About the Role

- Operating forklifts throughout the shift

- Assisting in the build and breakdown of a major concert stage

- Unloading trucks and transporting materials to the work front

- Moving heavy, light, long and odd-shaped loads safely and efficiently

- Handling steel, staging and event infrastructure materials

- Working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- Communicating with supervisors and crews via two-way radio

- Maintaining safe operating practices around workers, vehicles and equipment

Equipment

Operators will be required to operate a mix of:

- 2.5 tonne LPG forklifts

- 3 tonne LPG forklifts

- All-terrain forklifts

Requirements

- Current LF Forklift Licence

- Current White Card

- Standard construction PPE (hard hat,



hi-vis shirt, steel cap boots, long work pants and safety glasses)

- Proven experience operating 2.5t and 3t forklifts

- Experience handling large, awkward and irregular loads

- Construction site experience preferred

- Warehouse and logistics experience considered

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Confident using two-way radios

- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a team

Hours

7:00am - 5:00pm

Daily schedule:

- Optional free breakfast available from 6:00am

- 7:00am start

- 12:00pm free lunch provided

- 5:00pm finish
