We have more work than electricians, and we’d like to change that.

Ellico Group has secured long-term work across multiple Bowen Basin mine sites. This isn’t a one-off shutdown that dries up after a few weeks. It’s ongoing work, and we’re looking for experienced electricians who know the mining environment, take the job seriously, and can hit the ground running.

Who we’re looking for

- Trade-qualified Electrician

- Minimum 2–3 years post-trade experience in a mining environment

- Based in Mackay or the Bowen Basin, since local knowledge is a real advantage

- Comfortable across maintenance, breakdowns and shutdown scopes, and able to adapt when plans change

- Coal Board Medical and standard mining tickets preferred (or willing to obtain)

- Dragline experience highly regarded; we also have opportunities for experienced Dragline Electricians

About the role

You’ll join a team working across multiple Bowen Basin sites, on either a structured 7/7 roster or floating work, depending on what suits you.
