As a growing business they are currently seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join their Casual pool of Bench Hands to support the effective completion of printed products by carrying out manual finishing, packing and general production duties.

About the role:

The role assists machine operators and other production teams to complete work safely, accurately and within required deadlines undertaking duties such as:

- Assisting machine operators with setting up, feeding, monitoring and clearing production equipment as directed.

- Keeping machines, benches and surrounding work areas clean, organised and free from waste.

- Feeding, collecting, inspecting and packing products produced on folder gluer and other finishing equipment.

- Completing manual finishing tasks, including folding, collating, fastening, gluing and assembling printed products.

- Carrying out general handwork such as attaching magnets, applying labels,



constructing presentation products and preparing items for packing.

- Performing routine quality checks and identify defects, shortages or non-conforming products.

- Logging jobs on and off accurately using Q and P software.

About you:

For this role we would value a strong work ethic, dependability and a willingness to learn over previous experience. However, previous experience in printing or packaging, or a similar manufacturing environment would be highly regarded.

- Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on quality.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

- Effective time management and the ability to meet production deadlines.

- Commitment to Work Health and Safety and maintaining a safe work environment.

- Clear communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute positively to a team.

- Willingness and ability to undertake training, learn production processes and develop skills across multiple business functions.
