As a Carpenter, you’ll be involved in a wide range of work that includes:
• First and second fix carpentry.
• Fit-outs, refurbishments, and general carpentry.
• Framing, cladding, decks, doors, skirting, architraves, and finishing work.
• Site set-out, repairs, and maintenance.
• Commercial and residential project work with variety week to week.

Qualifications:
• Must hold a recognised trade qualification, such as:
− Certificate III in Carpentry
− Completed carpentry apprenticeship
− Equivalent qualification recognised by QBCC
• Construction White Card




• Valid Working rights in Australia
• Current Blue Card
• Current Australian Driving Licence
• Valid and current Police Certificate

Experience:
• Demonstrated 2 years or more experience in carpentry, ideally in a health, aged care, community housing, commercial, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and protected work practices.
• Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, use hand and power tools, climb ladders, and work in various site conditions.

Skills:
• Ability to prioritise workloads, work independently and/or with a team, and respond quickly to urgent repairs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work around vulnerable residents.
