An established regional insurance business is looking for a either an experienced insurance broker or motivated qualified looking for a rewarding career change.

This is a particularly good opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to their clients, understands regional business and wants more from their career than just a job.

You’ll work with client base of agricultural and commercial clients, managing renewals and providing ongoing advice.

The business is continuing to evolve and grow across the region, creating genuine scope for the right person to make this job their own and rewarded for effort.

THE ROLE

You’ll maintain relationships with existing clients and make sure they are well looked after.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage established portfolio of commercial and agricultural clients
- Provide ongoing advice, renewal and placement support
- Build trust within the local business community
- Identify and convert appropriate new-business opportunities
- Work closely with insurers and internal operational support
- Make sure compliance and debtors are taken care of
- New to insurance? Fast tracked training and guidance provided.

ABOUT YOU

- Experienced insurance broker, OR motivated, client focused professional looking for a change
- Tier 1 insurance broking qualification or willingness to obtain
- Confidence speaking with clients regularly




- Experience with agricultural, rural or regional clients highly regarded
- A professional and practical approach
- Robust relationship building skills
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining part of a broader team

The preference is for someone based in or around Dubbo, although candidates elsewhere in the Central West will also be considered.
