Nikola Estate is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in a professional kitchen and learn from an experienced team in a beautiful estate environment.

About the Role

Working closely with our kitchen team, you’ll assist with the day-to-day preparation and operation of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, energetic and a team player.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen prep

- Washing, peeling, chopping and preparing ingredients

- Assisting chefs with preparation for service

- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen

- Washing dishes and keeping kitchen equipment and work areas clean

- Receiving and putting away kitchen supplies

- Assisting with stock rotation and storage

- Supporting the kitchen team wherever required





- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is genuinely interested in food and working in a kitchen environment

- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic

- Is willing to learn and take direction

- Has a positive, can-do attitude

- Works well as part of a team

- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organised

- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful
