Heavy Lift Supervisor

CEVA Fagioli is seeking an experienced Heavy Lift Supervisor to lead heavy transport and lifting operations across projects in the APAC region.

Reporting to the Site Superintendent or Site Manager, you will coordinate daily site activities, supervise crews and equipment deployment, and ensure operations are delivered safely and efficiently in accordance with approved engineering plans and project requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads alongside their crew, communicates clearly and maintains high standards of safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise heavy transport, conventional lifting and alternative lifting operations, including jacking and skidding.

- Direct crews in accordance with engineering drawings, approved lift plans, Method Statements, OEM manuals and project procedures.

- Lead critical operations and preparatory works on the ground alongside the team.

- Coordinate personnel, equipment and daily work activities with site management and leading-hand operators.

- Lead toolbox talks and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), maintaining accurate records.

- Promote protected work practices and ensure compliance with company, client and applicable standards.

- Supervise equipment maintenance, report faults and coordinate necessary repairs.





- Lead and mentor operators, riggers and lifting crews, providing clear task allocation and practical guidance.

- Liaise with engineering, project management and client representatives, including participation in technical and planning meetings.

About you

You will bring:

- At least five years’ experience in a similar supervisory role, using comparable heavy transport, lifting, jacking and skidding equipment.

- Relevant lifting and rigging training and certification to a standard equivalent to the LOLER requirements specified for the role.

- Sound knowledge of cranes, mechanical handling machinery and lifting equipment, including safe use and maintenance requirements.

- The ability to interpret lift plans, transport studies, rigging drawings, Method Statements, JSAs and OEM manuals.

- Strong communication, coordination and people leadership skills.

- A practical approach to solving problems and a commitment to protected, disciplined operations.

- Availability to work on a rotation basis at project sites.
