About the Organisation
Our client is a boutique insurance brokerage in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs and part of the Steadfast network. It looks after SME clients across a wide range of general insurance classes.
The business is growing, and this is a newly created role.

About the Role
We’re looking for an Account Manager to look after an established SME portfolio worth $300k to $400k in income.
You’ll manage the portfolio end to end, covering renewals, policy servicing, claims, current business and debtors. Support staff are available depending on workload.
This is a full portfolio role, not an assistant role. It is office based, five days a week.

Key responsibilities:

- Managing an SME client portfolio worth $300k to $400k in income

- Preparing renewals and servicing policies across the portfolio

- Looking after claims for your clients

- Generating new business

- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

- Managing debtors

About You
You’ll bring account management experience from an insurance brokerage, working with SME clients. You’ll be Tier 1 compliant and have strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ideally you’ll also have:

- Experience with WinBeat and OfficeTech

- Strong communication skills

- Good skills in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

- A collaborative, team-focused approach
